Remembering a place.

This is a little diorama of Richardsville, PA. The little white store was owned by my relatives and when I pass it on my way to my grandparents house, I remember when I was small and it was still open. You could get bread, toys, and your mail there! The model was made by my 88 year old Great Uncle Bill. It’s on display at the Jefferson County Historical Museum in Brookville Pennsylvania along with the famous Bowdish model railroad that he helped to create.

Do you have special places, events or objects that you like to remember? How do you share those memories?

(He also rebuilt a one of a kind car that is on display, too.)
